Who we are
Mother to Mother is a community organisation supporting women and families affected by violence. This policy covers information collected through this website and through direct contact with our team.
What this website collects
This site is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and does not track visitors between pages. Fonts are served from this site rather than a third party, so simply reading these pages does not send information to anyone else.
Information reaches us only when you choose to send it:
- Contact form. The name you give, your email address, the type of enquiry, how it is safe to reply, and your message.
- Newsletter. Your email address only.
- Direct contact. Anything you tell us by phone, message, email or in person.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Why we hold it, and for how long
We use what you send only to respond to you and to provide the support you have asked for. Support records are kept securely, for no longer than is necessary, and are accessible only to the team members supporting you.
Confidentiality
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with anyone — including family members, employers or the police — without your agreement. The single exception is where the law requires us to act, such as a serious risk to a child. If that ever arises, we will tell you before we do anything wherever it is safe to do so.
Your choices
- You can ask what information we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct or delete it.
- You can use a different name with us, and you need not give an address.
- You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
Keeping yourself safe online
If someone else can access your device, please read the digital safety guidance on our Resources page. Visits to this site may appear in your browser history, which is not something this site can erase.
